With fashion, culture and creative exchange at its heart, Mediterranean Fashion Week 2026 concluded on September 6 in Puglia, Italy, bringing together designers and creative brands from different countries.
A particularly striking moment of this year’s event was the presentation held on September 2 at the magnificent and historic Castello Aragonese in Taranto, an iconic castle overlooking the sea that provided an imposing setting for the day’s fashion presentations. Within this international context, the Greek independent fashion label SKiN iT – Constructed Garments, founded by award-winning designer Georgia Chioni, presented its collection “Wonderland – Chapter II: Rebel Aristocrats.”
The collection continues the distinctive visual universe of Wonderland, exploring the encounter between aristocratic aesthetics and the notion of rebellion. SKiN iT’s characteristic approach to garment construction lies at its core, with structured silhouettes, pronounced volumes and theatrical elements transforming the garment into a fundamental tool of storytelling.
The choice of the historic castle as the setting created an intriguing dialogue between the past and contemporary aesthetics. The dark, theatrical and structured character of the Rebel Aristocrats collection gained a particular intensity within a space charged with history and Mediterranean atmosphere.
